This is a tutorial put covering modeling and texturing of a picaroon ship. We start with creating a contrivance and setting up image planes near the front of we start modeling. In this protrude we'll use mainly NURBS based geometry to image masts, ladders, wood panels, stairs, sails and railings which are then converted to polygons in the end to create additional detail in the copy.
