So, again, I'm up late, having just fed the babe who still (friggin' heck again) does not sleep through the night, and I'm too damned tired to come up with something interesting to say. Here are a few highlights of life lately:
- I am so happy that The Office is back on again.
- I discovered Etsy.
- I am hooked.
- Shit.
- This is for my friend T in BC who doesn't think Viggo is hot. First: I'm going to have to kick you in the neck. Second:

- In other words, what the hell are you thinking.
- Weight loss. Ooohhh yeah...I was supposed to be doing something that had to do with weight loss! Well, I'm down a total of 17 pounds (since the beginning of January), but please, don't clap too hard, because that's been holding steady for a few weeks now.
- I blame birthdays and dinner parties and such.
- The weather is AWESOME. I ran around my house in my skivvies with all the windows open today. It was 22 degrees out. Seriously. WHEEEEE!
- Holy shit, my blog has degenerated to discussions of the weather.
- My kid has FOUR teeth. #5 is coming soon. Dig it:
- The whole teething thing means we see a lot of faces like these:
- I love those faces. They are my faves.
- Also new (since I posted last, anyway): Pengin can get from lying down to standing up in his crib.
- By himself.
- My days of only having to have eyes in the front of my head are nearing their end.
- Also new: initiating and playing peekaboo. Cute.
- He also likes copying games, like smacking his hand and waiting for you to do the same, or doing what I call "The Old Man Cough", a.k.a. "Harumphing" and waiting for me to repeat that back to him. Think Statler & Waldorf. I will try to get that on video, because it's hilarious.
- The Jolly Jumper is losing its appeal in favour of walking (or running, god help me) while holding onto our fingers.
- My back is killing me.
- Also, apparently sippy cups and crawling are going the way of the soother in this house...my kid is skipping both, and going right for the glasses and cruising/walking.
Ok, that's all my tired brain's got right now. This post was interrupted by yet more feeding. I think that 5th tooth is arriving very soon...
Over and out...zzzzzzzz...

Those teething faces are great. That is pretty impressive, skipping crawling. Better make sure everything is baby proofed now!
I figured he'd be walking downstairs backwards and reading Le Monde by now. Hmmm .. Well, I can't expect all kids to develop as fast as I did. hahha ;-)
GAWD, he's so damn cute he makes my ovaries spit!
He'll be training for the Olympics soon at this rate. What event will it be????
Oh and I don't actually find Viggo attractive. At all.
Google Reader does the work - anytime you post - I'm alerted ;)
Those are some cute baby pics too. Teething... I wonder how much pain that would be if we did it today?
Yay! 17lbs. Awesome.
Also, you have the most adorable child.
Hey Viggo! Did you know your hot? Did you know you make my ovaries twitch? Did you know, like Sting, someday you'll marry me?
Oh. Right. Where am I? his is your blog. . .
Cute Pengin! As usual!
Viggo tripped up my fingers. I swear I haven't been drinking. I'm too sick. It's supposed to say, "THIS is your blog." It's all Viggo fault. I even love his name . . . .
If you've been having birthdays and dinner parties to attend, then keping your weight steady is an achievement!
Um, Viggo IS and HAS the hottest man-meat on the planet.
Can someone throw Skeletor a piece of toast with peanut butter on it! This man needs something to eat! Thats what i have to say about VIGGO!
Yeah, Knight! He already wants to check out the electrical outlets on his "walks". Wasn't quite expecting that yet, so we're going to have to get on it! Ah!
Dearest Jay. You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. And apparently a smart ass. My favourite combo. ;)
RLL - Mine too! I'd be ready for #2 any time, but mein Hublein gives me a very frightened look whenever I say anything that even remotely resembles that.
Karen, it would likely be something risky. This kid is definitely a risk taker. Maybe the luge? LOL - I shouldn't joke. That would freak mama out. Also, if Viggo were a cake, I'd totally have your piece.
REH, isn't that a crazy concept? It's amazing that we've all gone through that horrible pain of the first teeth, and yet none of us remember it. Pretty trippy...
Thanks Suze & Kim! All I can say is hooray for breastfeeding, haha!
Oh Jen, I love Sting as well. I KNEW I liked you. ;) So um...the only thing is, Viggo is betrothed to me. And he likey. So, I guess you'll have to "settle" with Sting because you know I can't break Viggo's heart like that. (And I like his name too - what's funny is that in Denmark it's kind of an old man's name - like Harold is here, or something similar.)
Saucy and Trev - conflicting views on my darling V, but neither of you ever fail to disappoint with the hilarious comments, haha! Man meat. (Yeeeeaaaah diggity.) Skeletor. (Seriously: Kick. You. In. The. Neck.)
Your son is adorable! I have such similar pics of my son when he was teething...a few times I caught him numming the leg of the dining room table like a woodchuck.
I thought Viggo was so hot. But then he went on this radio show to read some of his own poetry. Damn him. It killed our love.
Haha! That's so funny - I really like his artwork (particularly the photography) and some of his poetry - I've never heard him read it aloud though. What killed it? ;)
